Comprehensive Refund Policy

Understanding our donation refund guidelines, exceptional scenarios, and processing timelines.

At Aidkart, we deeply value the trust and compassion of our donors. Your contributions go directly towards saving lives, supporting social causes, and empowering NGOs. Because the funds raised are often required urgently for medical or operational needs, maintaining a transparent and strict refund policy is crucial.

Standard Non-Refundable Policy Donations made through the Aidkart platform are considered final and voluntarily given. Under standard circumstances, we do not issue refunds once a transaction is successfully completed. However, we acknowledge that genuine errors or exceptional situations may arise, which are covered under our exceptions below.

Exceptional Scenarios for Refund

Aidkart will issue refunds strictly under the following exceptional circumstances, provided the funds have not yet been transferred to the Recipient (Beneficiary/NGO):

Fraudulent Campaign Identified

If a Campaign has been identified by our trust and safety team as fraudulent, misleading, or violating our terms of service, Aidkart will proactively cancel the campaign and refund all associated donations back to the original donors.

Unauthorized Transactions

If a Donation has been identified to have been initiated using an unauthorized payment instrument (e.g., stolen credit card, hacked account) not belonging to the user, and the rightful owner wishes for a refund.

Campaign Purpose Unfulfilled

If the Campaign organizer posts an official update stating that the intended purpose of the fundraising campaign is no longer possible (e.g., the patient no longer requires surgery), donations will be eligible for a refund.

How to Request a Refund

    Raise a Request

    Contact our support team immediately using the 'Contact Us' link provided below. Include your Transaction ID, Date of Donation, and the precise reason for requesting a refund.

    Verification Process

    Our team will investigate the claim. We will check if the funds are still with Aidkart and verify the legitimacy of the "exceptional scenario" claimed.

    Approval & Discretion

    Any claims for refunds not strictly falling into the above categories shall be reviewed and honoured solely at the discretion of the Aidkart Management Team.

Timeline: Once a refund is officially approved by Aidkart, the amount will be credited back to the original mode of payment within 7 to 10 bank working days.
